NOTICE OF QUASI-JUDICIAL PUBLIC HEARING
FOR ZONING AMENDMENT
CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA
The City Council of the City of Sebastian, Indian River County, Florida, has received a request to amend the zoning designation for property, and therefore proposes to adopt the following ordinance:
ORDINANCE NO. O-23-07
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA, DESIGNATING A ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF RM-10 – MEDIUM DENSITY MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT WITH CURRENT ZONING DESIGNATION OF RM-8 – MEDIUM DENSITY MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT FOR LAND LOCATED ON LOUISIANA AVE; CONSISTING OF 15.75 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, KNOWN AS SEBASTIAN OAKS; AND SURROUNDED BY MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONED PROPERTY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
A quasi-judicial public hearing on the ordinance will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian.
Following the public hearings, the City Council may schedule a second reading and adoption hearing.
Interested parties may inspect the proposed ordinances and complete legal description of the property by metes and bounds, in the Community Development Department at City Hall, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and may appear at the hearing and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance.
