RECALL ELECTION
FOR SEBASTIAN CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS
DAMIEN GILLIAMS, CHARLES MAUTI, PAMELA PARRIS
SEPTEMBER 15, 2020
CITY OF SEBASTIAN
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY
FLORIDA

The City of Sebastian, Indian River County, Florida will conduct a recall election on September 15, 2020 of Sebastian City Council Members Damien Gilliams, Pamela Parris and Vice Mayor Charles Mauti.   This new date supersedes the previously advertised September 9 Recall Election date.

Should the recall be successful, on this same ballot, candidates may succeed the recalled council members for their unexpired terms.  Candidates shall not be elected to succeed any particular member.  Candidates receiving the highest number of votes shall be declared elected to fill the resulting vacancies. 

The candidate qualifying period is August 13, 2020 to August 19, 2020.  Candidate packets are available in the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian, Florida and on the City’s website www.cityofsebastian.org.

The Logic and Accuracy Test for the voting and tabulation equipment will be held at the Supervisor of Elections Office, 4375 43rd Avenue, Vero Beach on September 9, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.

The polling places will be established by the Supervisor of Elections.
