NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

CITY OF SEBASTIAN

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY

FLORIDA

 

ORDINANCE NO. O-20-03


AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE SECTION 54-2-5.10(2), SIZE AND DIMENSION CRITERIA, REGARDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF STARTING POINTS FOR BUILDING HEIGHT MEASUREMENT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND REPEAL OF LAWS IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.


The City Council of the City of Sebastian, Indian River County, Florida, will hold a quasi-judicial public hearing concerning the adoption of the above referenced ordinance on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at approximately 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian, Florida.   At the conclusion of this hearing, the City Council may enact this ordinance into law.  Interested parties may inspect the proposed ordinance in the City Clerk’s office at City Hall, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and may appear at the hearing and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance.

 

Individuals are subject to medical screening prior to entering any City building and entry may be denied if any indicator of illness or prior COVID-19 exposure is identified.

 

Due to health concerns regarding coronavirus, alternative methods will be in place for the public to provide input regarding this amendment. Interested parties may contact the City at 772-388-8226 or email questions at COSTV@COSTV.CITYOFSEBASTIAN.ORG or may visit the City’s website at  http://www.cityofsebastian.org/public-input-methods.

 

No stenographic record by a certified court reporter will be made of the foregoing meeting.  Any person who decides to appeal any decision made by the Council with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be heard.  (F.S.286.0105)
